The Iceberg Model
The awareness that candidates who are visibly the most willing to change positions are frequently not the most competent, was fundamental to developing an improved search method. As with the iceberg model, real treasures are often concealed under the surface. They tend to be difficult to identify with classic methods.
Unlike the classic search approach, the Triple S™ method is concerned with systematically finding the most successful executives in a market segment (top performers) in the shortest time possible and as accurately as possible.
This means that throughout the entire search process, it is not the candidates who are most willing to change positions that are identified and contacted, but those who are the most competent in a comparable function. Our approach differs from classic HR searches. Using our network and a competency-based requirements profile, we specifically contact insiders from the relevant branch of industry (scouts) and potential candidates (sources).
Similar to a reference in the form of a preliminary check, this gives us highly qualified information on the top performers suitable for a specific position. To complement our extensive scouting and sourcing activities, we deploy state-of-the-art methods and resources from classic searching at the same time to optimise the HR search process.
