Education
Dr. Thomas Kraft studied Business Administration at the University of Cologne, graduating with honours, and obtained the CEMS Masters in International Management with study visits at the HEC Paris and the London School of Economics. He then completed a doctorate at the Institute for Organization and Human Resource Management (IOP) at the University of Berne, becoming a doctor of political science.

Professional experience
Dr. Thomas Kraft has 14 years of professional experience in the area of HR consultancy. After setting out in the area of HR and organisational development with a management consultancy, he worked in Germany and Switzerland for the well-known executive search consultancies “S.U.P. – Societät für Unternehmensplanung” and “Interconsilium”, first as a senior consultant, later as a partner. In parallel, he researched intensively into the conceptual and empirical aspects of improving the quality of HR consulting. This included a dissertation on the subject of HR consulting – the first up to that time – and the publication of a comprehensive study on the relationship between HR consultants and their clients. On the basis of these publications, Dr. Thomas Kraft developed the Triple S™ method: a lasting improvement to the procedure for externally recruiting specialists and executives. The search assignments he handles in his function today – as Managing Partner of Dr. Kraft Consultants GmbH – are carried out using this innovative method.

The focus of Dr. Thomas Kraft’s consulting activities is on executive search in professional services, healthcare, financial services, the pharmaceutical industry, mechanical engineering and public institutions.
